Getting Started with Tableau
First, get the software
There are two ways to procure the software. You can choose either or both. The easier way is to go to any of the RRH labs. All labs computers have Tableau (windows version) installed in it.
If you prefer installing Tableau on your own Mac or Windows computer, then you need to go to https://www.tableau.com/academic/students and enroll in their student program. You will need to take a picture of your ID and prove your enrollment at UVA. Use your UVA email. It takes some time for them to verify your identity and email you the link, so do not do this at the last minute.
