Learning Objectives
What will I learn? Will it be beneficial for my career?
The course has two main learning objectives. The first is to develop effective IT leaders. This is achieved by asking our participants to observe real-world business
practices, assess them, and make practical recommendations for improvement.
The second objective is to foster intercultural management competencies, which we define as (a) an appreciation of the differences in business practices between the U.S. and other
parts of the world, and (b) an ability to cope with these differences. This involves tailoring methods of analysis and recommendations to clients in ways that align with their cultural and
business contexts, recognizing that solutions are not universally applicable across all cultures and situations.
